Privacy notice

This notice explains what personal information Ideal and Digital collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Ideal and Digital is a trading name of Ideal and Homely Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 12811011. Ideal and Homely Ltd is the controller of your information. You can contact us about anything in this notice at info@idealanddigital.com.

What we collect

When you book a call, the booking form collects your name, your email address and anything you choose to tell us in the form. If you email us, we receive what you send. If you become a client, we hold the contact and billing details we need to work together and to invoice you.

This website sets no cookies, runs no advertising or tracking scripts and uses no analytics that identify you. Like any website host, our hosting provider records technical information such as IP addresses in its server logs to keep the site running and secure.

Why we use it

We use your details to respond to you, to hold the call you booked, to follow up on it and, if you ask for one, to send you a proposal. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us and running our business, or taking steps at your request before entering a contract. If you become a client, our basis is the contract between us and our legal obligations, for example keeping financial records.

We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for marketing you haven't asked for.

Who helps us

We use a small number of providers to run the business. Each handles your information only on our instructions:

Cal.com runs our booking page. Google Workspace runs our email and calendar. Cloudflare hosts this website. ClickUp holds our record of enquiries and clients. Stripe handles invoicing and payments for clients.

Some of these providers are based in, or store data in, the United States. Where information goes outside the UK, it's protected by the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or by the UK's approved data transfer agreements.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and booking details for as long as we need them to respond and follow up, and delete them when they're no longer needed. Client records, including invoices, are kept for six years after the end of the financial year they relate to, because the law requires it.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop or limit using it. You can object to us using it on the basis of legitimate interests. To do any of these, email info@idealanddigital.com. We'll reply within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to put it right first.

Changes

We'll update this notice if the way we handle information changes. This version was published on 14 October 2026.
